The Franklin Lakes Fire Department relies heavily upon donations from our residents as well as our local businesses to help support our mission. Your donations go towards the purchase of our Fire Chief Vehicles, additional specialty training classes for our members, uniforms, food for our members after Monday Night Drills and during major incidents. In addition, your donations also purchase gifts and refreshments for our annual Children’s Christmas Party at the Firehouse.
Established in 1924, the Franklin Lakes Fire Department has developed a rich history of tradition and bravery, generated from the dedicated efforts of its volunteers over the past 97 years.
We are 100% volunteer respond to an average of 600 emergency calls per year including structure and vehicle fires, motor vehicle collisions, hazardous materials incidents, technical rescues and severe weather events.
